Spoorsingel Zuid

With the relocation of two firms near Anna Paulowna train station, space is created for the development of a new neighbourhood: Spoorsingel Zuid. Our firm designed the urban plan for this neighbourhood and developed the apartment buildings, detached houses and the layout of the public space.

Spoorsingel Zuid is a high-quality and sustainable residential environment. The ensemble of two compact residential buildings and seven townhouses naturally complements the rural character of Anna Paulowna. The two apartment buildings are designed as connected volumes with differently coloured masonry to create the small-scale appearance of four different volumes. 58 apartments can be built. Most of the apartments are designed as corner units and all feature quality outdoor spaces in the form of gardens, balconies or rooftop terraces.

The public space along the Spoorsingel is characterized by high-quality green surroundings and attractive cycling and walking routes. The apartment buildings will be surrounded by a shared garden. A diverse and carefully selected range of plants create a natural habitat for numerous insects and birds. Most parking spaces for residents and visitors will be located behind the residential buildings and along the new side street on the eastern side.
